Roger Marshall Receives Noon Rotary Vocational Excellence Award

Reverend Roger Marshall Wednesday was presented the Effingham Noon Rotary Club Vocational Excellence Award for 2012.

Reverend Marshall will celebrate his 25th anniversary in 2013 as pastor of First Baptist Church of Effingham.  He was also acknowledged for his work in the community and as a past two-term president of the Illinois Baptist State Association and as a trustee of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City.

The award is presented annually and recipients have been both Rotarians and non-Rotarians who excel in their community, in their profession and in their lifestyle.
