Dr. Haller Joins Hospital Board of Directors

HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital has announced Hospital Sisters Health System Board of Directors recently approved the appointment of Kelly Haller, MD, to the hospital’s Board of Directors for a three-year term of November 1, 2016 to October 31, 2019.

Dr. Haller specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and practices at Effingham Obstetrics and Gynecology, LLC, and has been a member of St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital’s Medical Staff since 1994. She received her medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.

Dr. Haller actively participates in community fundraisers, including but not limited to Harmony Playground, Crisis Nursery, Community Support Systems, In His Hands Ministry, Breast Cancer Awareness, Ballard Nature Center and Family Life Center. She also has hosted a large number of physician assistant, nurse practitioner and medical students through her medical practice. A single mother of three children active in Illinois High School and Junior High School rodeo, she has also provided emergency services at some of the events across Illinois while her children are competing. Born and raised in St. Peter, she has been a resident of Effingham County for over 20 years.

Dr. Haller joins the other members of St. Anthony’s Board of Directors: Dot Behrns, APN, FNP-C, Chairperson; Sister Ritamary Brown, OSF; Sister Marybeth Culnan, OSF; John Kingery; Didi Omiyi, MD; Bob Schultz; Eric Zeller; and Theresa Rutherford, President and CEO. 

Dean Keller recently concluded his service on the Board of Directors.
