The Illinois Soybean Association will host a pair of Soybean Summits in February to provide farmers with resources and information designed to increase yield and profitability while also protecting the environment.

The free events will take place Feb. 3 at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham and Feb. 16 at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria. Both events run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Topics will include:

- Developing habits to break down yield barriers

- Discovering new trends and techniques to help boost yield potential

- Finding new ways to overcome production challenges

- Learning how to meet growing global demand

Each event will include a variety of speakers and breakout sessions. They’ll also include networking time, when farmers can learn and exchange ideas with other farmers as well as consultants and industry representatives.
