Windsor Superintendent Resigns; HS Principal Named Interim Superintendent

Windsor High School Principal Erik Van Hoveln has added the title of interim Superintendent to his duties.

Windsor Superintendent Gavin Sronce resigned at this month's school board meeting, due to health reasons. The board agreed to a buyout concerning the remaining 2-1/2 years on Sronce's contract. Van Hoveln was named to take over Sronce's duties for the balance of the school year while remaining high school principal.

A search for a permanent replacement for Sronce will begin soon.
