St. Elmo School Board Meets Tuesday

The St. Elmo Community Unit School Board of Education met in regular session on Tuesday, December 20.

The Board approved the regular meeting minutes from the November 16 board meeting, bills and financial reports, and monthly administrative reports.

The Board also approved the repayment of an interfund loan of $140,000 from the Tort fund to the Education fund, the school board expenditure resolution, the QZAB interest tax abatement resolution and adopted the proposed tax levy resolution.

The authorization of the board president to sign the Certificate of Compliance with the Truth in Taxation Act was approved.

The Board adopted the IASB PRESS Board Policies and Board Policy #7:180 as presented at the November 16, 2016 board meeting.

The Board set two special meeting dates for January 9, 2017 at 5:30pm and January 11, 2017 at 6:00pm regarding superintendent candidate interviews and moved the January regular scheduled meeting to Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 7:30pm.
