Crash in Richland County Injures Area Woman

A crash in Richland County resulted in injuries to an area woman.

The crash happened at 8:52am Monday on US 50 at Shipley Road, west of Olney. State Police report a car driven by Carlie Wilson of Olney was traveling on Shipley Road and failed to stop at the stop sign. Wilson's car struck a car traveling on the highway driven by Marla Raley of Clay City, causing both cars to spin and end up in a ditch.

Raley was injured and was taken to Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Both drivers were cited; Wilson for disobeying a traffic control device, and Raley for no insurance.
