A Beecher City man was injured in a crash Wednesday morning.
36-year-old Clifton Miller of Beecher City was injured when his car was struck by a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Dorinda Himes of Beecher City. The impact knocked Miller's vehicle off the roadway, where it struck a culvert and ditch and then overturned.
Miller was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Himes was cited for disobeying a traffic control device. She told Effingham County sheriff's deputies she didn't see any cars and disobeyed the stop sign.
The crash occurred at 8:20am at the intersection of 100th Street and 2100th Avenue, north of Beecher City at the Effingham-Shelby County line.
