Niemann, Campbell Again Chosen as County Board Chairman, Vice Chairman

Jim Niemann of Effingham was again chosen chairman of the Effingham County Board Monday.

The retired city police officer will again be joined by Effingham businessman David Campbell, who was returned as vice chairman.

The Board also approved committee assignments. That included a vote to expand the number of members on the Ambulance Oversight Committee. That allowed the appointment of Mike DePoister to continue on the committee. DePoister had been chairing the committee until his term on the County Board ended. He will now serve on the committee as a public member.
