Clay County Hospital Hires New President

Christopher Hunt has been hired as the next president of Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Hunt's first day on the job will be Monday.

Hunt has served the past 13 years as Vice President of Clinical Services for Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio. 

Among things leading to his selection, Hunt led the establishment of a pain clinic, managed multiple information technology implementations, construction projects and helped in the Ohio facility being named to Healthgrades list of Top 5% in the nation for Joint Replacement and top 10% for Patient Safety.
