Hess Unopposed for Another Term at Teutopolis

Teutopolis Village Board President Greg Hess has no opponent for another term.

That was realized as the filing period for the April 2017 election ended Monday. Hess was the only one who filed for the President's position.

There will be a contest for Village Trustee, as four people filed for the three seats available. 

The three incumbents...John Mette, Greg Oseland and Dave Tegeler...filed for another term. Newcomer Gary Vahling also filed as a trustee candidate.

No primary election will be necessary. The general election will be held on April 4.
