Harry Potter Theme for Altamont Homecoming; Queen and King Crowned

(THIS YEAR'S HOMECOMING COURT AT ALTAMONT COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL)

"Harry Potter" is the theme for Homecoming this week at Altamont Community High School.

During the coronation held Monday night between the Altamont JV and varsity girls basketball games, Keidron Duckwitz was crowned Homecoming Queen and Joe Stone was crowned Homecoming King.

The Homecoming Court includes senior attendants Arianna Kopplin and Mackenzie Hoene and senior escorts Steven Bain and Jacob Crow.

Junior Attendant is Kaitlyn Hoene escorted by Noah Kopplin, Sophomore Attendant Montanna Tonn escorted by Harrison Fitzjarrald, and Freshman Attendant is Binta Sanyang escorted by Donovan Delaney.

Flower Girl was Jillian Tappendorf and Crown Bearer was Kaden Wolff. The new queen was crowned by retiring queen Lily Laatsch escorted by Cameron Jackman.

The classes are decorating the high school hallways in competition with the judging taking place Monday. The winners were announced Monday at the pep rally.

There are dress up days going on each day this week.

The Homecoming Dance is set for Saturday, December 3 from 7-11 in the ACHS gym. The Court will be announced at 9pm. The public is welcome to attend for the actual coronation, but not for the remainder of the evening.
