Unit 40 Parent/Teacher Conferences Thursday, Friday

Effingham Community Unit School District #40 will conduct parent/teacher conferences Thursday, October 25 from 5-8:30 p.m. and Friday, October 26 from 8 a.m. to noon. Students will not be in attendance Friday, October 26. Parents are encouraged to contact the school for a conference appointment if they have not received any information concenring this important day.

Parents who cannot attend a parent/teacher conference Thursday or Friday may schedule a conference on another date that is mutually convenient for both parent and teacher.

Report cards for all Unit #40 students were sent home Tuesday prior to the parent/teacher conferences. This will give parents an opportunity to view their child's report card before talking with teachers and also will give parents an opportunity to formulate questions they want to ask.

Attending parent/teacher conferences is one way of being involved in children's education. Effingham Unit #40 is striving for 100 percent participation at all grade levels and is encouraging all parents to attend a conference concerning their child.
