Pat Gebben New Sole Owner of Merz Heating and Air Conditioning

Merz Heating and Air Conditioning of Effingham has announced Pat Gebben as their new Owner/CEO. He assumed his new responsibilities on November 1.

Pat Gebben has been part of the Merz team for 32 years, beginning in the service/installation department before becoming a part owner/sales manager 10 years ago. During that time, he became familiar with all aspects of running a HVAC company while being responsible for designing new home construction heating/cooling system, business systems, geothermal, wood heat, fireplaces, and much more.

Pat said his goal is to "provide customers with quality 24-hour service, indoor air quality and comfort at a fair and honest cost to you and your family". Gebben thanked the past, present and future customers of their 82-year history.

Pat Gebben resides in Teutopolis with his wife Julie, son Dustin & two daughters Janelle and Savanna. A Teutopolis graduate with a heating & air conditioning certificate from ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Gebben started working at Merz Sheet Metal in 1984 as a service tech and installer. In 2003, he moved to the residential sales department and then in 2005 became part owner of Merz Heating and Air Conditioning, and now has become sole owner of Merz.

Merz Heating and Air Conditioning has been a family owned business since 1935 and has been providing their services for over 80 years. Merz is a Premier Lennox Dealer and "is dedicated to providing quality affordable heating and cooling systems as well as service to the Effingham and surrounding area for many years to come".
