Vandalia Woman Sentenced; Effingham Citations, Investigations

-- Delta D. Frailey, age 44, of Vandalia pled guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced by Honorable M. Don Sheafor to 35 months, to be served in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

-- Effingham City Police issued citations to:

Thursday: Miranda D. Ledbetter, 37, St. Elmo for retail theft

Friday: Mercedes K. L. Brown, 22, Effingham for retail theft; a 17-year-old juvenile from Effingham for retail theft

Sunday: Brandi L. Greer, 25, Effingham for disorderly conduct; Jayme S. Schultheis, 41, Effingham for retail theft; Riley T. Douthit, 29, Effingham for threatening a public official, resisting/obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct

Monday: Nathaniel T. Martin, 19, Effingham for burglary to motor vehicle; Ryan A. Harris, 20, Effingham for burglary to motor vehicle.

A retail theft occurred at Dollar General, 1002 N. Keller, Friday, Oct. 21 at approximately 2:51 p.m. An undetermined number of items were stolen during the incident.
