Country singing star Luke Bryan was a huge hit Saturday night.

Bryan, joined by three opening acts, provided a fun and exciting night of music at Mid America Motorworks. The Effingham stop was the final venue on Bryan's 2016 Farm Tour.

Best estimates are that 15,000 people went through the gates for the event, that also featured performances by Chris Janson, Jon Langston, and The Peach Pickers a trio featuring Rhett Akins, father of current country singing star Thomas Rhett.

Traffic was crazy, as expected, but flowed as well as moving 15,000 people in and out of the venue could flow.

The performance had been promoted for months, and the hope of Mid America Motorworks is that the success of the concert will lead to similar performances at the venue.

Gates were opened at 2pm for people to begin parking, but concertgoers were parked in every nook and cranny along Route 45 north and south of the venue long before then. Admission into the concert area began at 5pm. Bryan finally took the stage around 9pm.

The tour management did not allow any photography, but a couple of concertgoers sent along their own Snapchats of the evening.
