Denoyer, Munoz Homecoming Royalty at EHS

Alexandria Denoyer and Antonio Munoz were crowned Homecoming Queen and King at Effingham High School Friday night.

Alex and Antonio were announced the winners at halftime of the Hearts football game on Klosterman Field. 

The new royalty will reign over the Homecoming Dance Saturday night.

A sidenote: Alex's grandmother, Marcella Carpenter was crowned Homecoming Queen 50 years ago, in 1966. She was in attendance for the coronation ceremony Friday night.

Senior attendants are Shelby Borries and Tara Torres, and senior escorts are T.J. Bleeker and Jacob Bushue.

Junior attendants are Maria Dust and Natalee Swafford, while junior escorts are Terrence Hill and Jacob Swan.

Sophomore attendants are Natalie Carie and Kaylee Phillips, while sophomore escorts are Dylan Bushur and Levi Jones.

Freshman attendants are Emma Budde and Madilynn Stortzum, while freshman escorts are Clayton Cramsey and Austin Waldhoff.
