A Hong Kong woman who works in vocational education in China visited Effingham High School on Monday.

Eva Wu visited several classrooms at EHS. Wu spent time touring the vocational classrooms and programs offered at the high school. Her organization in Hong Kong is working in conjunction with Lake Land College to create regional vocational centers throughout Hong Kong and China.

Wu said she was very impressed by the techniques and equipment students are exposed to at EHS.

One major focus of her trip was to look at the unique way industry leaders, Lake Land College, and Effingham High School have formed a partnership for the betterment of the community and industry in Effingham and the surrounding area.

Wu was accompanied Lake Land College Vice-President Jim Hull.
