City Police Looking Into More Burglaries from Vehicles

Effingham City Police are looking into more incidents of burglaries from vehicles.

A burglary from a motor home occurred while the unit was parked at 1101 Avenue of Mid America between 1:15pm and 2:15pm Wednesday. A purse was taken, along with a Kindle, eyeglasses, a wallet, driver's license, a vehicle console tray, three checkbooks, four credit cards and an undetermined amount of cash.

Burglaries to three separate vehicles occurred while the vehicles were parked in the 1000 block of Northwood between 8pm Wednesday and 8:30am Thursday. Two sets of keys were stolen, along with a wallet, two credit cards, a vehicle console tray, and an undetermined amount of cash.

A burglary from another vehicle occurred while the unit was parked in the 900 block of Shenandoah between 9:30pm Wednesday and 5:40am Thursday. A set of keys was taken.
