Two Arrested in Mattoon

 Arrest Caroline Minard 640 640

Mattoon police arrested Caroline A. Minard, age 40 of Mattoon, on Tuesday September 13 at 7:29 p.m. at the MPD.

Minard was charged with Retail Theft. The charge alleges that she returned stolen merchandise to Wal-Mart for a refund on two occasions. Minard was issued a Notice to Appear in court.
Arrest Charles Mason

Charles W. Mason, age 37 of Mattoon, was arrested on Tuesday September 13 at 8:04 p.m. in the 2100 block of Moultrie Avenue.

He was charged with Violation of a Stalking & No Contact Order. The charge alleges that he violated a court order by being within 500 feet of a prohibited address and that he communicated with the petitioner for the order. Mason was taken to the jail.
