Brownstown Woman Killed in Crash

A Brownstown woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

State police report 32-year-old Kelli Ann Powell was the person killed in the crash, which was reported at 7:10am.

The crash happened on a rural road about one mile north of Brownstown. Police say Powell's minivan was southbound when the vehicle ran off the roadway to the left. The unit struck a guardrail face and then struck a concrete bridge face head-on.

Powell was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Fayette County Coroner's Office is assisting state police with their investigation.
