An overflow crowd attended the book signing ceremony at the Lake Sara Community Center Tuesday night for "Lake Sara-The Hidden Jewel of America's Heartland".

Jack Schultz, who wrote the book with Dr. Nash Naam, regaled the audience with not only the history of Lake Sara, but also the history of local families on the lake, including that of his own family headed by the late John and Fran Schultz...

Jack Schultz also spoke sheepishly of childhood activities such as sliding down Lake Sara's original unofficial waterslide, the spillway, and occasionally, water skiing after sunset.

His presentation was followed by remarks from Dr. Naam, who produced and presented a slide show of several photographs of Lake Sara, which at least one onlooker described as "simply awesome".
