St. Elmo school board members Monday approved an intergovernmental agreement with the City of St. Elmo concerning the city's Tax Increment Financing district.

The board gave its support to what is called the I-70 Interchange TIF District.

Board members also adopted a tentative fiscal year budget for the new fiscal year, with a final vote expected at the September meeting.

The Board also employed Whitney Roedl as full-time paraprofessional for the new school year.
