Teutopolis school board members Monday handled personnel needs heading into the new school year.

The Board accepted Barb Weber's resignation as Teutopolis Grade School secretary and appointed Meg Beckman to succeed her. The Board also approved hiring Casey Repking as assistant district bookkeeper.

Board members also recognized new high school Industrial Arts teacher Kelly Stortzum, recognized student Audra Breer for the Volunteer Service Award regarding her work with the Teutopolis Volunteens organization, and approved a tentative budget for the new fiscal year with final action expected at the September meeting.

The Board approved a concussion protocol that is required by State law, and discussed the condition of some lockers at Teutopolis High School and the cost to replace them.
