Noon Rotary Hosts 2016 New Teacher Luncheon

The 2016 Effingham Noon Rotary New Teachers Luncheon featured educators from the public and parochial schools in the Effingham community. Noon Rotary has hosted the luncheon for a number of years, recognizing those who are new to their buildings heading into the school year.

Noon Rotarian Ali Habing hosted the event.

Each new teacher present shared a little about themselves and where and what they will be teaching in the coming year.

Here's a look at who was honored Wednesday:

SACRED HEART SCHOOL 

Kindergarten teacher Melissa Ziegler, Art teacher Janet Nisbett with Principal Vicki Wenthe. Not able to attend was Pre-K teacher Heather Nieders. 

ST. ANTHONY SCHOOLS

St. Anthony Grade School Principal Matt Sturgeon, Religion and 6th Grade Homeroom teacher Dawn Hootselle, St. Anthony High School Guidance Counselor Craig Carr
