Traffic was disrupted early Wednesday afternoon in the Fayette Avenue underpass.

A rear-end collision left one vehicle stalled in a westbound lane directly below the railroad tracks passing over Fayette Avenue. That meant westbound traffic was crowded into one lane while the stalled vehicle was towed away. The crash occurred shortly before 2pm.

No other details on the crash are available yet from Effingham City Police.
