If you like tractor pull action, tonight's the night for you at the Effingham County Fair.

The Hastings Filters truck, tractor and garden tractor pulling, sponsored by Dust and Son of Effingham, will begin at 6:30pm. Big Ten harness racing will begin at 1pm. A reminder that the racing card will be heard on 979XFM today, due to the rainout of Sunday's Pennsylvania 400. The NASCAR race will air on KJ Country 102.3 at 9:45am.

It's a big day for judging, including the 4-H beef cattle show at 7:45am, 4-H swine-carcass class at 7:45am, the 4-H poultry and waterfowl, and pigeon and dove show at 8am, and the 4-H sheep show at 12:30pm.

A reminder that we'll have 4-H judging results each day through Monday at 8:45am on KJ Country 102.3 courtesy of Anna Wines.

On the free stage tonight, the First Christian Church Gospel Group of Effingham from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

Sunday activity featured harness racing, a concert by country singing star Joe Diffie and the annual fair parade that featured more than 100 entries.

The fair runs through Saturday at Altamont.
