Wheels to Prosper Awards Four Vehicles

A surprise anonymous fourth donation of a vehicle meant Saturday's Wheels to Prosper event in Effingham that much more special.

The donation meant four individuals could receive an award of a good running late model vehicle. In addition to the anonymous donation, vehicles were donated by Teutopolis Auto Sales and Webster Tire and Auto along with Probst Auto Body and CW Motorsports.

Area residents were invited to submit letters nominating someone who uses their vehicle to help others, but need a better vehicle to provide even more assistance.

This year's recipients are Debra Cisney, Tyrone Harvey, Tina Purcell and Eric Petticrew.

A special awards ceremony was held Saturday morning in front of Save A Lot Foods to make the awards of the vehicles.
