Effingham's Ruby Tuesday restaurant is closed.

An employee of a neighboring business said the restaurant closed as of noon today.

There was no advance notice, as apparently was the case when the franchise's restaurants in Champaign and Decatur also closed today.

We have a call in to Ruby Tuesday's national headquarters in Tennessee for comment.
