The Teutopolis Village Board has approved new sewer rates.

The rates, which will apply based on usage, will be effective for July and August service to be billed in September.

The first year increase will be $1.50/month, with 50 cent/month increases in each of the following three years for those using up to the minimum amount of water. For those using above the minimum up to 54,000 gallons/month, the rate will increase $3.25/month. For those who use above 54,000 gallons/month, the rate will go up $3.50/month.

The Board also voted to annex some property on the southwest edge of the village along Wooden Shoe Road.

Possible action on replacing the village street sweeper was delayed until additional information could be obtained. Some action could come at the Board's meeting on August 3rd.
