Lake Sara Fireworks Postponed to Saturday; Concessions and Rides at Sacred Heart Canceled for Tonight

The scheduled fireworks display at Lake Sara tonight has been postponed due to the heavy rainfall.

The fireworks display will now be held this Saturday night, the 9th, at 9:15pm, according to the Good Neighbors of Lake Sara.

In addition, the scheduled carnival rides and concessions on the Sacred Heart Parish grounds have been canceled for tonight, although everything is still a "go" for Monday night as part of the 4th of July fireworks at Effingham High School and the Effingham Knights of Columbus parking lot party.
