Hartke's Love of Gardening Benefits CSS

Chuck Hartke's love of gardening has blossomed into benefits for Community Support Systems.

The former state legislator and Director of Agriculture now oversees Chuck's Greenhouse at his rural Teutopolis home. Hartke recently presented CSS with a donation of $3,337. The contribution follows a practice of several years by Hartke to earmark the proceeds from his greenhouse to the organization.

CSS Director of Employment Services Pete Niccum said, "We are blessed to have friends like Chuck who believe in, and support, our mission. Chuck uses his love of gardening as a means to create revenue for services at CSS and we are extremely grateful."
