City Police Investigating Thefts from Vehicles

Effingham city police are investigating thefts from motor vehicles.

One incident occurred while a vehicle was parked in the 700 block of Holiday Drive between 10pm Tuesday and 4:14am Wednesday. A purse was stolen, along with two Social Security cards, a gift card, a debit card, a credit card, a checkbook and an undetermined amount of cash.

The other incident took place while a vehicle was parked in Four Seasons Mobile Home Park between 10pm Tuesday and 12 noon Wednesday. A purse and checkbook were stolen.
