Mattoon Woman Injured in Jasper County Crash

A Mattoon woman was injured in a crash in Jasper County over the weekend.

State police report a car driven by Madison Mullady-Winter was traveling on the Rose Hill Road, 1-1/2 miles east of Illinois 130, when Mullady-Winter ran off the right side of the roadway. She overcorrected, and the vehicle came back across and ran off the left side of the roadway, striking a large ditch and coming to rest in a field.

Mullady-Winter was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham. She was cited for improper lane usage.
