Two People Killed in Motorcycle Crash Near Martinsville

Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash in Clark County Saturday night.

The crash happened at 8:15pm on North Cline Orchard Road, about 3-1/2 miles northeast of Martinsville.

State police say a cycle operated by 58-year-old David Noble of Martinsville was southbound when the cycle struck a deer crossing the roadway ahead of it. Noble and his passenger, 45-year-old Amanda Welling of Marshall, were both thrown from the cycle and killed.

State police and the Clark County Coroner's Office are continuing their investigation of the crash.
