County Fair Talent Search Entries Being Sought

EFFINGHAM COUNTY FAIR IS ONCE AGAIN SEEKING LOCAL TALENT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL TALENT SEARCH IN AUGUST.

THIS YEAR THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A VARIETY OF TALENT. IF YOU CAN SING, DANCE, PLAY AN INSTRUMENT, JUGGLE, HULA-HOOP, PLAY THE TRASH CANS OR DO A COMEDY ROUTINE—PLEASE ENTER. THIS IS OPEN TO EFFINGHAM COUNTY YOUNG PEOPLE 21 AND YOUNGER. ALL TYPES OF TALENT ARE WELCOME---BUT MUST BE AGE APPROPRIATE.

1. Effingham County Fair Contest Rules

1. All Entries MUST be residents of Effingham County.

2. Performance time is 4 minutes or less. Selection must be age appropriate.

3. When using tapes or cd's for accompaniment, no like talent is allowed.

4. Contestants will compete in one act.

5. There will be a panel of judges and their decision will be final.

I/We have read and agree to adhere to the Effingham County Fair Talent Contest Rules and understand if I/We am/are chosen at the local level, I/We will represent Effingham County at the State Competition in Springfield in January 2017.  I/We have enclosed my/our $10 non-refundable entry fee (per act-not individual).

Auditions will be held June 30, 2016 from 4PM-7PM at the Effingham Park District. If you or your group will not be available for auditions, please send a tape or video prior to June 30th.
