Neoga school board members acted on personnel matters at this month's meeting, and also reached decisions on a couple of extra-curricular items.

The Neoga board accepted the resignations of Dan Verdeyen as custodian and Christine Frazier as speech pathologist. The Board hired Lacy Althoff as intervention teacher and literacy coach, and approved Bob Long as transportation facilitator.

In other action, the Neoga board renewed an intergovernmental agreement with the Stew-Stras district for high school boys and girls cross-country, and agreed to offer bass fishing and swimming as sports in the coming school year.

The matter of a donation to reinstate an Agriculture program at Neoga was not acted on, as no donation was forthcoming.
