The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce announced the formation of a partnership with Coggno, the premier Learning Management System (LMS) and online training marketplace, to provide access to online training courses for local employers and their employees. Businesses can access Coggno online training courses directly through the Effingham County Chamber's website, www.effinghamcountychamber.com.

Coggno specializes in proving a "one-stop shop" for individuals and organizations looking for online training courses needed for certification, or to advance employee knowledge in topics such as workplace diversity, ethics, sexual harassment prevention, time management and conflict resolution. Online training offers companies a cost-effective alternative to sending employees to off-site conferences, giving them the opportunity to learn at their own pace on a wide variety of electronic devices, including tablets and smart phones.

Norma Lansing, Presidsent & Ceo of the  Effingham County Chamber of Commerce, notes, "One of our primary goals is to provide the resources necessary to help our members grow and increase the skill set of their employees. By adding online training to our service offerings, we are one step closer to achieving our goals."

For more information or assistance with how to access the online training resources, contact Leah Orr, Chamber Administrative  Assistant at 217-342-4147 or lorr@effinghamcountychamber.com.
