Edgewood resident Felicia Case has been arrested on drug charges in Effingham County.

Effingham city police arrested the 38-year-old Case on counts of possession of methamphetamine as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. Case was also arrested on a count of operating an uninsured motor vehicle. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop Thursday in the city of Effingham.

Case in May was placed on four years' probation including 28 days in jail in Marion County, also on a charge of possession of meth. That probation could be jeopardized by the new charges in Effingham County.

The new charge is a Class 3 felony punishable by up to two to five years in prison.

Arrested with Case Thursday was 28-year-old Jennifer Hazlett of Altamont on charges of possession of methamphetamine as well as possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a hypodermic needle.
