Charleston Police Looking for Fatal Hit-and-Run Driver

Charleston police are seeking information on the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a Mattoon teenager Friday night, then left the scene.

Police have announced that the victim of the hit-and-run was 19-year-old Cassandra N. Ramey of Mattoon. She was struck at 8:57pm on Illinois Route 16 at Coles County Road 1050E.
