Library Board Retains Same Officers

The same officers will remain in place for the coming year at Effingham Public Library.

The library board reelected Dannielle Harden and Matt Greider as co-presidents, Charlene Topel as secretary, and Jim Arndt as treasurer.

Board members discussed a few warranty issues they are working on with the contractor, such as a broken air handler fan on the roof, and getting the elevator to function for after-hours use.

The Board also discussed the pending retirement of library employee Gayla Ring, who will depart on May 30 after nearly 22 years of service.
