Rotary International Food Fair is Sunday

The 2016 Rotary International Food Fair is set for Sunday.

The event will be held at the Sacred Heart Grade School Gym and will run from 10am to 1pm.

The food fair will feature items prepared by Effingham Rotarians and friends from all over the world.

Here are the countries from where you can sample food and those who are preparing the items:

Tickets for Sunday's event are $10 for adults and $6 for those ages 5-11, and are available from your favorite local Rotarian.

Proceeds will benefit Rotary's Bolivia Project. The project is designed to improve the diet and quality of life of the people in rural communities of Camata and Marumpampa, Bolivia as well as the surrounding areas with special focus on better nutrition for the school children. The project also involves work with local people to build a community center, plant gardens and raise animals.
