Wind Does Damage Southeast of Effingham

A line of showers produced quite a bit of damage between 2 and 3pm Wednesday over Richland and Lawrence counties.

The National Weather Service reports winds gusted to 66MPH at the Lawrenceville airport, 60MPH at the Mt. Carmel airport, and 52MPH south of Olney.

Trees and power lines have been reported down near Olney, Sumner and Lawrenceville, a house was damaged in Bridgeport, and a semi was blown over west of Noble.
