Rutledge Joins Teutopolis State Bank

Longtime area banker Jim Rutledge has joined Teutopolis State Bank as Vice President.

Rutledge is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Masters degree in Business Administration. He has also completed the Graduate School of Banking program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the ABA Commercial Lending School, the Illinois Bankers Association Compliance School, and the Illinois League of Financial Institutions Career Development School.

Rutledge has experience in commercial, residential and consumer lending in Effingham County.

Rutledge said, "Teutopolis State Bank is one of the strongest banks in the area. Their community involvement, customer focus, and service with a personal touch are core to my community banking beliefs. I look forward to working with the staff and customers of Teutopolis State Bank."

Rutledge is a member and past president of Effingham Sunrise Rotary, has served on the St. Anthony Hospital Advisory Council, past president and director of Effingham County United Way, past director of Effingham County CASA, member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, member of the Effingham Knights of Columbus Council, and current member of the Effingham Central Business Group.

Rutledge lives in Effingham with his wife Lori.
