Details are in from Effingham City Police on the crash last week at Henrietta and Fayette that ended up in the Walgreen's parking lot.

The crash happened just before 1pm on March 8 when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Alec Turner Cretan of Lake Villa struck a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Gail Kraft of Effingham, causing Kraft's vehicle to rear-end a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Alecia Booher of Effingham.

Turner Cretan then drove his vehicle into the Walgreen's parking lot and around to the west side of the building where the vehicle overturned and struck a parked vehicle owned by 59-year-old Nila Siemer of Effingham.

A passenger in Turner Cretan's vehicle, 23-year-old Joseph Culat of Lake Geneva, was injured and was taken by ambulance to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham for treatment.

Turner Cretan was cited for DUI, reckless driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
