Three Injured in Crash at Keller and Mid America

Three people were injured in a crash at Keller Drive and Avenue of Mid America Monday night.

The crash happened at 6:38pm. Effingham City Police report a vehicle driven by 82-year-old Clyde Schoonover of Herrick struck a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Brooke Ixtepan of Effingham. Ixtepan as well as two passengers in Ixtepan's vehicle, 26-year-old Carrie Poorman and 36-year-old Victor Ixtepan, both of Effingham, were all injured. Victor Ixtepan was taken by ambulance from the scene for treatment. Brooke Ixtepan and Poorman each refused treatment.

Schoonover was cited for failure to yield.
