A Neoga resident was injured in a single-vehicle crash Friday night near Effingham.
Effingham County Sheriff's Department reports a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Jacob W. Baker was traveling on Nazarene Road near East Candleberry when the incident occurred just after 11pm.
The vehicle ran off the road and struck a mailbox, then overturned. Baker refused treatment.
Deputies cited Baker on counts of DUI, illegal transportation of liquor, illegal consumption of liquor by a minor, no insurance, and failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash.
