Holomy Reappointed to State Commission

Effingham Fire Chief Joe Holomy has been reappointed to the Illinois Fire Advisory Commission for a four-year term ending on January 21, 2019. Illinois State Fire Marshal Matt Perez notified Holomy of the reappointment that was made by the office of Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner.

The Commission advises the State Fire Marshal on fire protection, investigation and prevention as well as other duties required by law.

Chief Holomy has served on the Commission since March 24, 2010.
