EHS Academic Hall of Fame

Effingham High School will again this year be honoring students who are eligible for the Academic Hall of Fame.

Based upon the familiar Athletic Halls of Fame of most schools, this distinction will be given to students with honorable cumulative GPAs based on a 4.0 scale. Freshmen will qualify for recognition with a 3.35 GPA, Sophomores with a 3.40; Juniors with a 3.45: and Seniors with a 3.50.

This Academic Hall of Fame will feature large group photographs displayed in the entrance to the cafetorium. This Friday, February 5, photos will be taken during the school day in the morning. Because there will not be a make-up opportunity, all students qualifying must make every effort to be present. EHS administrators encourage all students to dress appropriately for this photo (preferably NO JEANS, shirts with collars, dress slacks, and so on). Students will have an opportunity to purchase a group picture if they desire.
