The St. Anthony Bellettes dance team is headed to State for the fourth straight year.

Coach Lynn Buenker said the squad finished sixth. The top six finishers head to State. Sectional competition this year was held in Mascoutah.

Buenker, the former Lynn Vogel, said this year's Bellettes squad includes seniors Libby Brandt and Isabel Moore...juniors Kelly Rentfrow and Abigail Zaccari...sophomores Avery Elder, Meg Deters and Jaden Bracey...and freshmen Kaitlyn Dust, Allie Dasenbrock and Sophie Moore.

Buenker said the Bellettes will compete in preliminaries on Friday at US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington. 30 teams from across the state will compete; the top 10 from Friday's competition will take part in the Finals on Saturday.
