No one was injured when a vehicle hit a building in Effingham on Saturday morning.

The incident happened shortly before 10am Saturday. Effingham city police report a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Corey Fitzgerald of Effingham struck a parked vehicle owned by Brian Davis of Effingham. Fitzgerald's vehicle then struck another parked vehicle owned by Ralph Carlock of Herrick before continuing on and striking and damaging a building owned by Davis Recycling.

City police cited Fitzgerald for failure to reduce speed to avoid the crash, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
